€4.750
Exceptional cube-shaped table lamp, model Prismar, designed by Studio A.R.D.I.T.I. for Nucleo Sormani. This striking piece features semi-transparent, double-sided mirrorphane glass, held together by chrome-plated joints on the interior. When illuminated, the combination of mirrored glass and light creates a mesmerizing infinity effect.
Produced in three different sizes, this particular lamp is the medium version. It remains in pristine condition, with no signs of wear or damage. Marked on the bottom with the original Sormani sticker.
Studio A.R.D.I.T.I. was founded by Duccio Trassinelli and included Alessandro Mazzoni, Delle Stelle, and Elisabetta Merlini, with Gianni Gamberini joining briefly. In the early 1970s, the collective developed a series of highly influential designs, distinguished by a new philosophy of use. Notable lighting designs by the group include the Ponte lamp and the B.T. lighting series.
This exceptional lamp is part of the permanent collections of both the Vitra Museum in Weil am Rhein and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Our piece originates from Duccio Trassinelli’s private collection and comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the founder himself.
