Travertine table lamps by Giuliano Cesari & Enrico Panzeri for Nucleo Sormani, 1971

Designed around 1971 by Giuliano Cesari and Enrico Panzeri, these sculptural table lamps were crafted by Nucleo, a division of the Sormani furniture company in Milan, Italy. Both are made entirely from a single piece of unfilled travertine, the lamps boasts the characteristic aged appearance of this material, characterized by its natural pits and holes indicative of its porous nature. The lamps are in overall very good condition.
