Travertine and chromed metal table lamp by Paolo Salvi, 1960s

800

Rare table lamp by Paolo Salvi, made in Italy in the 1970s. It’s made of travertine, which is a common natural stone in Italy. The stem of the lamp goes up and holds a round shade made of chrome-plated metal which is adjustable. The mix of these materials looks beautiful together and makes a really nice light. The chrome of the lamp has acquired a nice patina throughout the years. This could be polished, but we chose to keep it in its authentic condition. There are no damages to the metal or stone. Overall, very good conditions.
