Pair of Patchwork sconces by Ludovico Diaz de Santillana for Venini, 1970s

A pair of  Patchwork wall lamps made of very fine Italian craftsmanship. This series, designed by Ludovico Diaz de Santillana, was exibited at the Benniale of Venice in 1970 and is included in the catalogue under the number 952. The lamp was made by Venetian glass-works factory Venini.
The structure of this lamp is a white armature holding multiple glass plates. The glass plates come in different colors and sizes and are “patched” together. All the parts together make a stunning light effect when illuminated.
