Pair of Biglia table lamps by Claudio Salocchi for Lumenform, 1971

Pair of table lamps, model Biglia. Designed by Claudio Salocchi for Lumenform in 1971. This series was produced from the beginning of the 1970s in three different sizes. This is the middle size and described in the Lumenform catalogue as Biglia baby/2. The lamps consist of a chrome plated brass structure together with a white blown glass Globolux bulb, which is part of the design and included in the offer. Salocchi was an important Italian designer. His work shows a very metaphysical style. This can be seen in other projects he did for Lumenform like the Tulpa table lamp. Both our lamps are in very good condition with minor signs of use.
