Large striped table lamp by La Murrina, 1970s

Large table or floor lamp, handmade by the glass-works factory La Murrina, which was owned by glass artist Gianmaria Potenza in the early 1970s. This breathtaking lamp consists of one piece of glass and is filled with stretched black stripes. This was a common technique used by Murano glass artist Lino Tagliapietra, who also worked for La Murrina. He might have designed this lamp. The overall condition is excellent. On the lamp is an original sticker from the La Murrina brand.
