Boomerang floor lamp by Nigel Walters for Hagoort, C. 1958

Very rare floor lamp called the Boomerang, named after the shape of the base. Created by a presumably English designer, Nigel Walters, in circa 1958. Manufactured by Hagoort Lampen in the Netherlands. This design is highly influenced by the Scandinavian style. Made of delicate teak wood and a rose colored shade.  The lamp is adjustable and features an overall elegant appearance. The condition of the lamp is very good, with minor signs of use.
