Area 40 table lamp by Mario Bellini for Artemide, 1974
Flower shaped table lamp designed by one of the greatest Italian architects, Mario Bellini for Artemide in 1974. The Area series were produced as hanging, floor and table lamps. This lamp is part of the Area Tavolo series, which were made in three different sizes; 10/20/40 cm. Made of a ceramic base that holds a twisted fabric shade. The lamp is in excellent condition with one small sign of use. Iconic design that’s also part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
