Compact and adjustable table lamp, model Elmo, designed and manufactured by the Milanese lighting company Imago DP in 1971. This lamp features an adjustable shade and can be positioned in various ways by balancing it on its chrome metal ring.
Imago DP was a niche producer of radical lighting designs, contributing to the evolution of Italian design between 1969 and 1973. The company collaborated with influential designers such as Ettore Sordini, Enrico Castellani, and Piero Gilardi—members of Studio Gruppo 14, an Italian art collective founded in Milan in 1962.
Our Elmo lamp remains in good condition, with only minor paint damage on the bottom, which is not visible during everyday use.
In addition to this lamp we also offer a different lamp by Imago DP, called Richo.
