Witch table lamp by Alonso Cagozzi for Philips, 1973

Very rare table lamp, model Witch. Designed by the Italian Alfonso Cagozzi for Philips in circa 1973, little is known about this Italian designer. The only thing we know is that this is not the only lamp that he designed for Philips. A different floor lamp that he designed is called the Areta. The Witch table lamp has the shape of an arc and needs to be clamped to a table. You can adjust the rod 360 degrees by tightening the screw on the base. Its character is very similar to that of lamps designed by Tito Agnoli for Oluce. It works best with a Cornalux bulb. Completely made of chrome-plated brass. Overall condition is very good, with minor signs of use.
*A new LED Cornalux bulb will be included in the sale.
